Types of Job Analysis Information

A number of JA information is required to be collected. For the sake of effective JA these information need to be collected and analysed. The types of information to be collected by a job analysis are shown below:

1. Work Activities
2. Machines, tools equipment and work aids used
3. Job related tangible and intengible
4. Job context
5. Work oriented activities
6. Work performance
7. Personal Requirements

So, job analysis is the process of determining and reporting pertinent information relating to the nature of a specific job. It is the determination of the tasks, which comprise the job, and of the skills, knowledge abilities and responsibilities required 01 the holder for successful job performance. The end product of a job analysis is writer description of the actual requirements of the job.
